Why Popcorn?

Eating healthy just got a whole lot crunchier. A team of researchers from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania has found that popcorn contains more antioxidants than other fruits and vegetables. According to Joe Vinson, PhD, who presented the findings at the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society, popcorn may be the perfect snack food.

In Malaysia, premium popcorn makers from abroad has set up outlets to take advantage of this upcoming trend and sadly local makers are only targeting the low quality, high volume market.

For us, we have a different approach. 

What makes us different?

Our approach is to create a gourmet feel and taste that everyone can enjoy by producing in large quantities and at the same time still using high quality ingredients whilst keeping the costs down.

For example, the chocolate used to make our popcorns are real melted down chocolate blocks instead of cooking chocolate powder or any other artificial flavouring in oil together with the corns whilst being popped.   

With continuous research and development, we are constantly creating new flavours and new ways to make our popcorn taste better.

Adams Artisan Snacks was established in 2018 and is a family owned business headed by, you guessed it, Adam.

With over 20 years of commercial experience in sales & makreting in various industry including multinational corparations and GLCs, he decided to hang up his shirt & tie to pursue his passion of creating works of arts in the kitchen instead. Since starting the business, we are happy to announce that currently we are unable to meet the demand capacity. 

Currently we have marketed our "Classic Caramel" popcorn at selected retail outlets and restaurants in the Klang Valley as well as online marketing platforms.

With such a good response, we hope to expand via your funding to be able to fulfill our back orders.

We also decided to offer more choices to customers with the launch of other flavours, namely, cheese, chocolate & cinnamon sugar just to name a few, through a crowdfunding platform!

With your help, We would be able to go into production on a bigger scale by utilizing specialized commercial ktchen equipment whilst keeping the costs low. This, in turn, would enable us to charge a lower price as compared to others with a similar approach to gourmet popcorn.

The key challenge that we have right now is to increase our production capacity. We have existing demand (back orders) but are currently unable to cater for it. In order to do that, we have to utilize small scale specialized commercial equipment to greatly increase our production capacity. This is where the funding will go towards.
